The Washing Machine
Visiting the UK for the first time, the story follows Catarina’s train travels from London to Blackpool on the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s Funeral.
Amongst her hopes and dreams is to find romance after the isolation of 2020-21.
However, her dream travels have become a nightmare, haunted by ghosts reaching out to her through portals via washing machines.
While Catarina is unable to escape from the horrifying events unfolding around her, she searches for safety and protection for those she cares about.
Amongst the loving and dreadful people she encounters, we also follow the story of two young children who run away from an abusive household to find their father.
The concurrent journeys undertaken by our characters are linked by a supernatural force.
Why have these ghostly entities chosen washing machines to unleash their wrath upon the world?
